# Akshat Sharma

> Aspiring Computer Engineer based in Dubai. Personal portfolio built as a
> reactive ASCII ocean, featuring hardware, mobile, games and community
> work, plus photography and long-form writing.

Akshat is a student and maker from Dubai, UAE. His work spans four areas:

- **Hardware**: Custom macropads, a programmable NFC + e-ink business card
  (Glyph), and a XIAO RP2040 touch-screen StreamDeck alternative (The Deck).
- **Mobile apps**: Flutter apps including Neko (cat-care companion with a
  Dynamic Island overlay, built for #HackTheKitty 2026) and HisabiPocket
  (voice-first finance tracker with receipt scanning).
- **Games**: Godot arcade shooter (Bat Hunt, Ember Game Jam) and a
  Python-based multiplayer adventure game (Sylvoria).
- **Community**: Host of HackClub events in Dubai (Counterspell 2024,
  ongoing Campfire), and Chair of Innovation & Technology at Indian
  International School.
