
Campfire Dubai today.

The day started like any event day. We had about 90 sign ups, around 60 check ins, and about 50 people who actually attended. We were a little behind schedule.

We had a Zoom meeting with the co-founder of Careem, introduced ourselves, and covered the usual opening things.

## Workshop

We started our GameMaker workshop at around 1 PM.

At about 1:45 PM, the director head from Microsoft Dubai told us to evacuate immediately because of rising tensions and reported explosions in Abu Dhabi with possible targets in Dubai. That was the end of Campfire Dubai.

The main organizers did an incredible job and deserve recognition for their work. They set up a great venue and brought in strong sponsors.
